Quality Easter bucket this year. We got kitchen tools for next year (kitchen tools being measuring cups, measuring spoons, a can opener, and the very necessary ice cream scooper), some socks, candy galore, PLAYMOBIL PENGUINS, and this cool hook thing that I assume is for a wall. Pretty sweet.
Brad came home for the weekend so at least I had a pal since Maj and Faj jetted off to the Virgin Islands. Good god. Apparently they've seen turtles and other such great things while snorkeling EVERY day. Thanks guys. But anyways. Brad and I traveled up to Troy (otherwise known as Abby Zhang Land) for dinner with the grands and Aunt Gail and Steve. PLUS an easter egg hunt in the dark (the eggs each had a piece of reflector tape on them...and we each got a flashlight, mine was terrible, but it's fine)!!!! That was the highlight of my evening...slash the entire week preceding the event because I told anyone who would listen about it. They were all jealous, naturally. I failed a little bit considering I only got one egg with a dollar in it...but they call me Fatty Patty for a reason so everything was a-okay!
Let's see...last night one of my substitute sets of parents took me to Casey's for a glorious dinner! Thanks Roxanne and Jerry! :) Not only was it delicious, but I pretty much talked about myself for the entire time...wow that sounds horrible. 'Twas grand to catch up...I miss them!
Hmmm...oh yes. Then there was the 1 a.m. trip to Taco Bell. So unnecessary but so necessary. My good friend LB came and picked me up in my pink reindeer pajama shorts and we flew off for Fourthmeal. Great decision. Tacos and a mango fruitista freeze...and yes, the drive-through man's explanation was that it was mango with some fresh strawberries on top. Thank you sir. And by the way...by fresh strawberries, he meant strawberries. In that weird sauce stuff that they typically have to put on top of pancakes and waffles. Mhmm. Delicious all the same.
Okay well I'm nearing the bottom of the pictures with text, which was my goal, even though when I hit the 'Publish Post' button the font is going to change and the text part is going to shrink and it probably won't match up anywhere near as perfect as I had imagined. It's fine. I'm well aware I live in a dream world. :)
